Medal of Honor Review

Medal of Honor is a first-person shooter video game in the Medal of Honor series, developed by Danger Close, a team within the EA Los Angeles studio, and DICE, released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 12, 2010. The game is a reboot of the series, taking place during the ongoing War in Afghanistan.

Medal of Honor’s single-player campaign uses a heavily-modified version of Unreal Engine 3, and its multiplayer uses the Frostbite Engine. The game uses dedicated servers for PC and consoles. However the server files have not been made public and are only available through specific GSP’s. It is the first game in the Medal of Honor series to receive an M rating from the ESRB.

Lost planet 2

As lost planet 2 hits shelves everywhere hundreds rush to buy this increasingly popular game. After a hit with the original “Lost planet”, Capcom studios have released the much awated sequel to the “hit” game. After playing the co-op demo (available from the Xbox live store, free of charge) Lost Planet reminded me of the halo. My enthusiasm to buy this  game was increased after I played with friends online, and this will definitely be a game coming onto my Xbox very soon.

Unreal Tournament 3

In this review I will be looking at the good and bad points to do with UT3.

Although the campaign is simple and un-thought out, and the characters are almost copied straight from Gears of War, the gameplay is simple and engaging, and easy to play for hours on end. The online is where this game really comes to light, and the fast paced action is enough to keep even the mosy impatient gamer amused. continue to read »
