Nintendo confirmed for first CES appearance in 16 years

The 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas will mark Nintendo’s first appearance at CES for 16 years as the release of the new Nintendo 3DS draws closer.

The vegas show is expected to showcase and demonstrate the new handheld and it will be exciting to see what Nintendo have instore for it’s players.

The company last appeared at CES in 1994, demonstrating prototype graphics hardware for what eventually became the Nintendo 64.

US gets green, orange DSi consoles

Nintendo will launch two new DSi colours in the US this week. Shoppers will be able to buy orange and green consoles, both of which are set to be bundled with Mario Party. continue to read »

New Harry Potter game ‘almost unplayable’

The new Harry Potter game is based on the book and and the first part of the Deathly Hallows film. It follows protagonists Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger who set out to destroy the seven Horcruxes, which will help them to defeat Lord Voldemort, the game’s antagonist. continue to read »

Michael Jackson Video Game trailer released

The trailer for Michael Jackson: The Experience claims the game “will electrify the world.” At the very least, it’ll piss off the downstairs neighbours…

Nintendo 3DS

One of the most talked about things at E3 this year has got to be the new Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo announced the release of the new DS at E3 earlier this week, although we new this would happen in advance, and we were blown away by what they presented to us. The 3DS is genuinely spectacular. Almost everyone coming out of E3 has said that the conference and simply playing with it were highlights of their trips.
